About Cardiovascular Imaging Services, Inc.

Cardiovascular Imaging Services, Inc. was formed in 1994 to provide rural hospital staffing, support, and mobile ultrasound services. Our goal is to provide facilities with quality ultrasound imaging for the convenience of the patients and physicians.

CIS utilizes fully digital ultrasound equipment and employs experienced, ARDMS registered ultrasound technologist. Our services are provided to rural hospitals, medical clinics, and doctors offices in Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia for the convenience of the patients and physicians. All of our exams/procedures are interpreted by board certified and licensed physicians.

CIS is constantly striving to improve its services and expedite reports to the ordering physicians. In doing so, we have recently purchased a new software program called "ERad and a PAC Server. This new technology allows physicians access on the internet (via security code) to a patient's images on the same day the procedure is done. Turn-around time on reports has been reduced in most cases to between 12 to 24 hours.

CIS provides all types of ultrasound procedures, including Echocardiograms, Carotid Doppler's, Venous Doppler's, ABI's, Arterial Doppler's, Pelvic US (transdominal and transvaginal), Abdominal US, RUQ's, Gallbladder US, Renal US and Scrotum US.

CIS never refuses service to any patient because of lack of insurance or their ability to pay and we offer uninsured patients 12 months, zero interest, pay back plan.

The CIS office is open Monday thru Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm, except on Holidays. We provide a toll-free number for physicians to call when scheduling a patient. Patients are scheduled by the office manager and/or his assistant utilizing a computerized Lotus scheduling software program.
